Came across a good tool this weekend and I thought I would share it. It was found at tweaking.com and seems to work really well when windows has become corrupted from a virus, malware, spyware, adware or just a bad update from Microsoft. Instead of trying to reinstall windows vista, 8, 8 or 8.1 over themselves by running an in place upgrade, try this first. Go to tweaking.com and download the windows repair(all in one) tool. You can download and install it on a computer or you can download the portable version and put it on a flash drive. Just make sure that you run it in the safe mode with networking or perform a clean boot first. There are directions on the website for running a clean boot. I have had it correct various different problems due to corruption. Here is a link to the website http://www.tweaking.com/content/page/windows_repair_all_in_one.html .
Thank You for reading and I hope this is helpful.
